'ROXY' THE ADORABLE 8 YR YOUNG, 51 lb, CHOW GIRL NOW AT RISK FOR EUTH - CALM, SAVVY GOOD HOME, FOSTER AND/OR RESCUE NEEDED ASAP TO SAVE HER LIFE. Please help us find a savvy loving, forever home or foster or foster-to-adopt and/or rescue asap for this gorgeous 8 yr young, 51 lb, chow girl named 'ROXY'. Roxy was owner surrendered by her owner on 3/29/24 indicating the pup had issues with other dogs and cats. They further indicated that she had a 'bad experience with a big dog, young children and no experience with small dogs'. While living with her previous owner, they described her as 'independent, potty trained (signals to go outside) and free roaming when left alone in the house.' Additionally, the owners indicated 'she may be going blind (fearful of new people and loud noises) and needs to be groomed'. Thus, this pup needs to be vetted and placed with a chow savvy home (calm environment) or foster or foster-to adopt & rescue to save her life. The shelter indicated that Roxy is 'NOT on deadline; however, we are over critical capacity and are euthanizing dogs for space.'
