About Baxter

This adorable boy is Baxter. He is a one-year-old beagle mix and weighs 34 lb. Baxter is a very friendly and sweet dog who will become friends with everyone he meets, both dogs and people included. This boy is confident and acts right at home no matter where he is. He is food motivated and easily trainable, already knowing commands like 'sit.' Baxter would do great with children of all ages with consideration to some jumping behaviors. Baxter would love to have a dog friend to play with. We don't know what he thinks of cats, but can 'cat test' him if needed. Baxter would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a smaller dog who is still active and playful enough to take on adventures.
