BASIC FACTS: Breed: Pitbull Mix Gender: Female, spayed Color: Black & White Age: 1-1/2 years Weight: 70 pounds Housetrained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids: Yes Concerns: None BIOGRAPHY: Meet Betty Jean, a 70-pound ball of energy! Betty was surrendered to a shelter in Philadelphia when her owner could no longer care for her. She does not come from a past of mistreatment or abuse and was very loved in her original home, however they failed to provide her with the discipline she needed. Betty Jean has blossomed over the past months in her foster home. She is a very smart girl who is eager to learn and quick to please. Her foster family also boards dogs and she loves to play with them, but we due to her large size and energy, we would not recommend her to go to a home where there are small dogs. She seems to do best with male dogs of a similar size to her. Betty is housetrained and crate trained and would do best in a home with a fenced yard - and an energetic owner willing to devote the time and energy to her daily exercise/play needs. Vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped Betty Jean is ready to embark on a new chapter of life with a loving family. She is currently fostering in Downingtown, PA and her adoption fee is $400.00. Transportation may be available, within reason. If interested in adopting this beautiful girl, please complete an adoption application via the following website: www.sophiasgracefoundation.org
