NEED CHOW SAVVY ADOPTER or FOSTER & RESCUE TO SAVE HIS LIFE EMER!! 72 HOUR NOTICE GIVEN - Please help us find a chow savvy home, or foster and/or rescue asap for this stunning, 2 yr old scared chow boy who the shelter has fondly named 'Rafiki'. This beautiful pup is not doing well in the shelter environment and as such the shelter has issued a 72 hour notice, indicating he must exit the shelter by no later than 5 pm on Friday, April 19th or he will be euthanized. Per the shelter, 'Rafiki was brought in by a county officer as a stray on 04/06/24. He was vaccinated on intake. He was tested with other dogs on 04/08. He did fine with the dogs in the play yard.' Sadly, his owner never came for him. Per his behavior notes, this scared young chow 'does not allow handling, but they are able to slip the lead over his head and bring to the yard.
