About Rivers

Rivers is a beautiful and sweet Weimaraner who needs a loving home due to his parent needing to move into independent living which does not allow large dogs. Rivers will follow you from room to room as he likes to be near his people. While an only child, Rivers gets along well with other dogs and is currently in doggy day care. Rivers is a bit lazy and only wants to be outside when he needs to use the bathroom (totally trained) or when outside with his people. He has a radio fence/collar and never tests his boundaries. Rivers needs a new home where he can live inside, in the AC, as he is a bit spoiled in this regard but will repay you with love and devotion (and laying on your feet.) He barks when he hears strange noises but loves the UPS driver who brings him a dog bone with every delivery. Vaccinations are current and Rivers has been cared for like a human child in every way. Rivers is part of the family and not just a 'd_o_g', if you tell him otherwise, he will not believe you. He is smart, shakes with both paws, knows when it is dinner time, and you can leave his dry food out 24/7 as he will not overeat. He is currently eating FreshPet atop dry food for dinner and likes to have dinner when his people eat. We are looking for another family to adopt this furry canine son and treat him as their own. (I am helping find the new home for this sweet boy as I have cared for him but am not his parent so please contact me via email.)
