About Maverick

Hello, let me introduce Maverick. Maverick is a very handsome, healthy dog. He is a 9 months old, German Shepard/Alaskan Malamute/Husky mix. He is current on vaccinations and has been neutered. We have had him for 6 months. During that time he has done well with my husband, myself and our children. He has coexisted well with our other dogs (large and small) as well as our cats. He is high energy but enjoys snuggle time too. The reason we need to find Maverick a new home is due to the fact that he has shown that he cannot coexist with livestock. In the past he has gone after and attacked some of our chickens. This was not a huge concern at the time as he was still learning life on the farm. However, recently he attacked one of our goats. After speaking with multiple K-9 trainers we have concluded that our farm is not the best home for him. Please email me if you have any interest or questions about Maverick. Thank you! Kari
