About Max

Rescued Max as a stray in poor shape June of '23, and has made an amazing recovery since. Very energetic and loves outdoor adventures, car rides, and makes a great hiking buddy. About 2 years old now. House and clicker trained. Very respectful of indoor boundaries and never chews. All vaccinations up to date, neutered in October. Responds to German, English commands and hand signals. As a rescue he will need further training and adequate time to socialize in new environments. Unfortunately all neighborhood animals are very aggressive and untrained so not great opportunities for positive interactions. Max is super affectionate, loyal, and protective to people, animals he trusts and bonds with. Loves pets and cuddles, makes a great companion. Looking for a home soon with lots of space, mild climates, and a low-stress environment. Extreme desert summers here are not great for pets that need lots of outdoor activities. Asking adoption fee is to help with vet and training costs.
