SADIE is a 10 year old, 16 pound Yorkie who was surrendered to us after the death of her owner LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: A loving home and a fenced yard. She loves her person and will follow them around. She's not really a lap dog as much as she is a near-you dog! She greets her foster family happily when they returned from an errand. We can tell that she loved her daddy very much because she really loves her foster dad, too. Sadie gets along great with the other small dogs in her foster home and likes to play with one of the other smaller males. We have not had her around kids or cats but think she'd be ok with both. Older kids are preferred though since she hasn't been tested with them. Sadie is fully housebroken, knows how to use a doggie door, and would like a fenced-in yard. At night she likes to sleep in the big bed at the foot of the bed. Sadie has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, is heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Sadie is a very good girl looking for a person to love who will love her right back! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
