4/14/24 **Currently fostered in the Beaverton, OR area and can be met with an approved app** Pete is an adorable, very chill, 5 month old German Shepherd mix who weighs 40 pounds. Pete is house trained and crate trained! He loves to play fetch with his tennis ball. But will settle quickly and is also content to play with his toys on his own. He likes to be near you, but not a lapdog. He loves his walks and loves to go to the park. He was afraid of the car but likes it now and lays down and rides nicely. He's a calm, sensitive, reserved, loyal guy who would be fine in an apartment or house. He loves to lay in the grass and play fetch with his favorite toy, a tennis ball, so a house with a backyard would be amazing! Fine with other dogs. Not sure about cats. Estimated to be 70-89 pounds full grown. Easily trainable with treats and consistent, calm commands. He knows sit, down, and off. He rarely barks. He will back up if he's unsure or afraid so he needs a secure harness or martingale collar so he can't slip out. He's just the best boy and will be a loyal companion and walking buddy! The adoption fee is $450 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn't work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed.
