Basics: Currently a foster through ACS (ID #A708870); picked up by ACS as a stray around 4/5 Approx 5 years old Neutered male (neuter through ACS on 4/9/24) Heartworm negative Vaccinated, up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention Terrier mix (breed scan says mix of mini bull terrier and rat terrier, maybe some basenji and Great Dane) 33lbs Black with white markings Positives/Adoptable Qualities: Great with kids Affectionate Energetic, healthy Observant and intelligent (learned doggie door in one day!) House-trained/potty-trained Knows 'sit' Treat-motivated Does not mind a crate Sleeps peacefully all night in crate (currently located in foster's bedroom) Obstacles/Challenges: Fear of adult males (barking, growling observed with most adult males; can sometimes calm down when given space and/or offered treats) Food aggression (only seen with our other male foster, likely due to lack of access to food in past) Separation anxiety (does okay in crate when we leave, but worries when foster mom is out of sight) Located in Rio Medina (78066) but foster mom Mina Watts will take anywhere for meet and greet.
