About Minnie

Meet sweetie pie MINNIE, a wonderful Texas heeler/hound mix beauty with a perpetual, beguiling smile! Minnie was found wandering rural Alice Texas by community rescuers and when SSDR saw her photo we knew we had to help! Minnie is 1-1.5 yrs old, weighs 43 lbs and won't get much larger. With her beautiful merle heeler/golden and black markings, large, soft eyes, friendly, yet soft and shy demeanor and wiggly STUB tail, she will make a wonderful pet for some lucky person! She loves being near you once you are her new friend and she is potty trained....cheese is a favorite treat/reinforcer! This baby prefers women and is scared of men so needs an owner who will give her space to acclimate to resident guys or visitors. This sweetheart is GREAT with all other animals; Dogs, cats, AND the resident rescue tropical birds at her N Portland foster's home!
