About Mr Wolfred Brimley

Frankston TX - URGENT! FOSTER CAN'T KEEP ANY LONGER: Mr Wolfred Brimley was dumped in the streets end of March 2023. He had fly damage to both ears tips, was skin/bones, had wounds on his muzzle and wear to his teeth that appear to be from him trying to get out of a wire pen. He is groomed, on Heartworm/flea/tick preventative and healthy and happy! He looks older due to black-phase coat that is ever changing. Wolfred is playful yet calm and loving! He is so very grateful to anyone who is kind to him. He has prey drive (cats, gophers and chickens are not his friends). His foster has acreage and he loves to run and explore but he is penned all day and only allowed to be free on property at night when all the livestock are sequestered. No life for this boy! He wants to be indoors with his humans. Wolfred plays with their 2 Aussies and has been sweet around everyone he has met (ages 12 - 60). Mr Brimley is a lousy watchdog - when the mailman came Wolfred just looked him over but never barked. He is talkative, weighs a healthy 85lbs now and really wants to be in the house but foster can't allow him indoors with her cats. So even though he is housetrained poor guy lives outside 24/7. Wolfred will ride in the car and load up if asked. He walks on a leash and LOVES being brushed - he grumbles when you stop. He is SO happy to have attention and get petted - he would be a great companion for someone who has lots of time to spend with him and take him out for hikes. He would be great as a spoiled Only Dog - or with other friendly dogs as well (loves the females). Wolfred Brimley he has a beautiful double coat and would be so happy in a home in the Sierra, or Colorado, WA - someplace cool with snow and creeks to explore as. TRANSPORTATION HELP AVAILABLE!
