About Bruno

Bruno is a standard poodle rescued from a hoarding situation with many others. Bruno is wonderful with other dogs but does have somewhat of a dominant play style that may not be conducive for any dog. Bruno is scared of new people but once he's bonded to his person he allows pets and cuddles. He walks on a leash and overall has very good house manners. Because Bruno is still very fearful of strangers he will need an adopter that has the ability to keep up with his grooming needs until he gets to a point where he can be professionally groomed. Once comfortable in his surroundings he's a confident boy and loves running around and playing like a normal spoo. We are hoping to find a home for him in the San Diego area as we have found the dogs from this hoarding situation grab a lot of people's interest and many can't see past the breed. These dogs are wonderful dogs but will require a home where their caretaker is patient and committed and understands they will not immediately love their new person and need to be allowed time to feel safe and to bond before soliciting attention and affection.
