About Teddy

Teddy is a golden doodle, standard sized rescued from a hoarding situation. DNA test has been done. Teddy was in a foster to adopt situation that isn't working out. Despite all our efforts trying to explain how dogs coming from situations like this are very fearful with people the people that wanted him only saw a golden doodle. Yes, he's a golden doodle but he's not a dog that is going to let someone pet a cuddle him initially and will take time getting used to his new environment and learning to trust his caretaker. Having another stable friendly dog in the home will help this process go faster. Teddy cannot currently becwalked on a leash and will need a home with a yard so he can go in and out as needed to potty. We are hoping to find someone with a heart for rescue and that is patient and will be committed to helping Teddy become the confident dog we know he can one day become if in the right environment. All the other dogs rescued from this same hoarding situation have come so far and made so much progress once we got them in the right environment. Teddy deserves this same opportunity. Because Teddy is so fearful and we've already had one person not take to heart what we told them about Zteddy we can only consider fosters or adopters in the San Diego area as we need to keep him close by in the event things don't workout.
