About Athena

We rescued a miniature bull terrier from a bad situation and we want to find her a perfect home. She comes with a few minor issues: she has really bad allergies, she 'supposedly' isn't great with little kids in the home (fine in public but may be some resource guarding going on), and she is an alpha female that wants things to be her way. She hasn't been aggressive towards my other dogs but she has corrected them (when they were just walking around) and she does hump my younger male dog. Both of my dogs are very submissive and there has been no negative interaction. I think she would be a fantastic only dog with older children in the home. She is really comfortable around our 16 year old and is quite fond of him. She does come with AKC registration. She was co-owned by the previous owner and the breeder. The previous owner signed over the papers and the breeder has said she will do the same once Athena finds her forever home. I have all of her medical records. She is 47 lbs, spayed and was born 11/22/18. The owner was going to have her euthanized for 'aggression' but I just don't see aggression out of her. His version of her is vastly different from the dog sitter's version and I'm leaning strongly towards the dog sitters version of Athena. She comes with a kennel, toys, bowls, medication (along with instructions), lots of clothes and paperwork. If you can give her a forever home I know she will be a great dog.
