About Melo

Melo has been in our family since he was a puppy. Previously owned by a family member who could no longer handle having 3 dogs. We then took in Melo at the age of 2. Melo has been a great dog in our family but things in our family have changed. We now have 2 children (who he is great with) and have moved into a much smaller home with no outdoor space(only have a balcony) We've come to the realization that this is no longer fair to him. He goes on walks but has a limited space inside our home. We're making the hard decision to rehome our 7year old pet. Melo does have skin irritation occasionally and has cherry eye. It has been taken care of once however it came back and we chose to leave as is and monitor and take care of it daily. Melo has been in our son's life since he was born 5 years ago. He has always been playful and affectionate with him. Now the same with our 5 month old daughter. He is very hyper with other humans and dogs but has never shown aggression. Our previous home he had a backyard to himself and was very happy. He has been both and indoor and outdoor dog. I'd say his ideal home would be with someone who has the time to care for him with a yard for outdoor play. I pray to find a healthy happy stable home for our big boy. One other thing,this boy snores like he's been working hard all day ����
