***NEEDS FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Eagle, ID FINLEY is a gorgeous, healthy 77-lb, 6-year-old, neutered, American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a cat-free home with someone home a lot. He is in a loving foster home living with a family that includes another dog, mom, dad, and 4-year-old old They say that FINLEY has brought them a lot of joy after losing their pup 6 months ago. FINLEY is housetrained and sleeps through the night. He has been through formal training and knows several obedience commands like sit, down, stay, heel, gentle treats, etc.; some will likely need to be refreshed. He knows how to use a doggy door. FINLEY does well on walks. He is usually loose in the home and is used to someone at home most of the day. FINLEY is a sweet boy who loves treats and snuggles with his people, but is perfectly fine staring out the window/sitting in the sun FINLEY likes to play with balls, squeaky toys, plush toys and tug toys. He loves playing fetch and tug with his people. FINLEY may be shy with visitors at first, but soon he will be their favorite lap dog because he may not be able to stop giving them kisses. FINLEY is looking for someone who can establish a daily routine for him. He has shown that he is scared of bicycles and motorcycles. He may have some foot sensitivities, so best to minimize touching there. FINLEY's new home will be provided with his vet records and all his supplies (bowls, food container, leash, bedding, treats, etc). A small rehoming fee will be paid to the rescue that is helping him find his forever family. Please consider giving FINLEY another chance at forever!
