Hello! My name is Rosie, and I am a female cockatiel. My foster family is currently looking for my forever home! They took me in from my previous family who no longer had time for me. I am only three years old and wasn't handled or trained much in my previous home, but since arriving at my foster home, I have mastered target training and am slowly becoming more comfortable with stepping up. I learn super fast (especially for millet ;)) and would love to continue doing lots of training in my new home. My favorite things are millet and getting head scratches! I also love to sit on my people's shoulders. Although my wings were clipped, they have grown out significantly, so I can fly very well! My foster family wants to make sure my new home will not clip my wings and will let me strengthen my flying skills! I am living in a small room until I am able to make safe landings in larger areas. I am also currently being diet converted onto chop and pellets from the unhealthy seed mix that came with me. I will come with my cage, 5 perches, toys, my food/water bowls, cage cover, carrier, some millet, and my old seed mix to help with diet conversion. My foster family adores me and thinks I will become the best, most loving bird ever with a little patience and time. If you think we would be a good fit for each other, please reach out, as I and my foster people would love to speak with/meet you!
