About HAPPY

Meet Happy, a beautiful 5 year old Shorkie, he is a shitzu and yorkie mix. Located in Miami. General behavior: Happy is a very sweet pup, he is good with kids and other dogs, haven't tried with cats. He loves his humans, love to cuddle next to them to sleep, he is not potty trained but we are getting better, at least now he goes very close to his foster sisters pads, also goes outside, he knows how to walk on a leash, love to be to be touched by adults and kids, he can be sometimes jealous about some treats but work on that is getting better and better. He is 12 lbs of a perfect gold body ���%8D yes, he looks like gold ��%A4� Likes & dislikes: Happy is learning about playing with his foster's dogs, toys, and of course, food! Training: Happy is 5 years old, learning the 'not you' when we are about to open the door, he knows he have to stay back but reinforcement on that would always be nice. He is 50/50 potty trained, he will need to continue training in his new home. Medical: Happy is up to date on his vaccines and will need just his monthly preventative heartworm and flea prevention medicine - like any other dog. Other animals: Happy is a sweet little pup and would do lovely with other dogs. He loves the company of his foster's sisters who are teaching him manners like going to a pee pad when foster mommy is not home, and he acts like a guardian if anyone comes close to them, like a truly gentleman. Children: Happy is good with children, but children's should always be gentle with him as he is a small dog. Home: Happy is a very smart boy he doesn't chew anything he is not supposed to, he really is a great dog. He will do better on a house with another dog or a human that works from home, he likes and enjoy to be companied, he needs patience and love, he have already passed through a lot, we learned that Happy was crated most of the time�'�| no dog deserves that. He loves to cuddle in the bed with you, if you allow him, he will cuddle on your chest. Grooming: Happy will need his grooming at least once a month. He will need his regular baths, ear cleaning, and nail trims at least every 3 weeks. Overall: Happy is an extraordinary boy that really deserves a great home and family for himself, he is a good dog also on dog parks, we have visited a few with small dog areas and he have done great!
