About Blossom

Blossom is around 3 years old. She is (in my opinion) the most beautiful snowshoe I have ever seen. She is very playful, her favorite toys are the cloth balls filled with cotton (she plays fetch and I taught her to 'kiss' the ball before I throw it though she doesn't do it as often now), lasers, boxes, and any type of toy with a feather on attached. She is a snuggle bug especially when it's cold. She drools a little while she's sleeping but I've noticed it's only when she's sleeping on someone. She is scratch post trained (she only scratches on scratch posts or cardboard boxes) and litter box trained besides her spraying issue(regular litter, kitty litter, and that pellet dust litter but not the pellets she's not a fan). Blossom comes with a few issues of her own that are quite costly. *costly* Blossom came to us with a 'urination' problem, we were only told she wasn't litter box trained. Turns out she's marking her territory. In the two years we've had her, she's gotten much better about the spraying but the calming diffuser helps very much, though she's ruined two couches and three cat beds in the past. The last time she did this was November of 2023 in a cat bed. Another costly part, she has anxiety but has not been properly diagnosed due to lack of funds. Her breed is well known for opening cabinets and drawers and she's the champion of that. she's gotten in every place she can, including floor vents our landlord very poorly secured to the wall due to her anxiety with loud noises and new people/animals. Blossom is a very sweet cat and this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I can no longer afford her specific needs and she deserves a family that can afford to help her anxieties and marking behavior. I have given great detail because I wish the shelter I rescued her from had given me all this information because I would have known then I wasn't the right fit for her but I'm also posting in hopes to find the perfect home for this sweet baby as she deserves so much more than I can currently give her. I'm looking for someone who can mentally and financially take on any issues this sweet girl has. I would like this to be her last home and for her to live a long and happy life with a family that can give her everything she needs. As I've said, this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do and I already cannot forgive myself, so please be respectful and kind.
