Meet Teddy, an adorable 8-month-old Pomeranian X Chihuahua mix weighing in at 11lbs. This sweet boy is ready to find his forever home with someone willing to provide him with the guidance and training he needs to flourish. Teddy is a playful puppy who loves attention and cuddling up with his people. While he enjoys being the boss, he's learning his place in the pack and has been learning how to be comfortable around larger dogs. Teddy has shown great improvement in car rides and has become an excellent travel companion. He's also mastered the art of bath time, which is great because he will need regular grooming! Teddy is working on housetraining and crate training, showing great progress. He walks like a pro on a leash and has a medium energy level, playing hard and then crashing hard. Teddy is eager to become a cherished member of the family! He will watch his fosters big dog and will lunge, growl and nip if he gets too close sometimes. He is getting better with time. Good with Cats: Unknown Housetrained: Working on it - he marks but will be neutered later in April so should improve Crate Trained: Working on it and doing well. Some crying to start but calms down. Crate Reactivity: None seen Food Guarding: None seen but does eat in crate. Loves food! Takes treats with my dogs well. Walks on Leash: Yes, like a pro! Leash reactivity: None seen Energy Level: Puppy/Medium Requires detached/single home: No, but does bark sometimes so must be okay with that Skittish/Nervous: Overall no, but might take some time to warm up to some people.
