About Jaz

Jaz was abused & because of the abuse, she was & can be aggressive. She still has certain issues with her collar being tugged at & will try to nip at you if you try to grab at her collar too fast. My daughter took her in to save her from the abuser. But sadly, my daughter passed away and instead of sending Jaz to a shelter and possibly being put down, I took Jaz in to help rehabilitate her. She is very loving and loyal with the right human to show her that they can be trusted to not hurt her. With having custody of my daughter's 5 children, my own dog & cats, I can not give her the constant attention that she needs. She needs a place that she can run & play safely, an abundance of love and attention and most importantly, someone who will continue to be patient with her. She still has some issues with men as it was a man who abused her. She does ok with my cats, but she wants to play with them and gets a little too rough sometimes so I don't know if putting her with new cats would be a good idea. Jaz needs someone who will show her that not all humans are bad and abusive and that will continue to rehabilitate her with love. I love her but can't give her the most that she needs out of life. She needs a special person to understand her needs and to give her a life that she can thrive in. Having a fenced in back yard or a lead run would be great as if she gets the chance, she will run away. She also loves to be groomed. She loves the attention and being treated like a princess.
