About Eclipse

Hello everyone. My name is Eclipse! I am a 1 year old black lab mix who's also a young momma. I am a super sweet and gentle girl. Everyone who has met me just loves me! I love to snuggle up to you for some pets and I really enjoy a good belly rub. But I also do great at just going off to lay by myself. Now I love everyone but I also do have a fondness for men. I have been great with the dogs in the house but I am also a tough girl! I've been known to take down my slightly larger foster brother often in our wrestling matches. I was slightly timid and didn't want to play with larger dogs initially but I warmed up quickly! Now I don't seem to know any basic commands yet, so we are working on that. We are working on crate training. I did go in on my own the first time! Once in the crate, I was fine. It's just getting into one that's scary for me at first. I also sleep soundly all night in the crate! I am also potty trained, as I haven't had any accidents in my foster's house. I am not too fond of baths but I do well. I haven't been around any small kids yet, but I am sure I will do well. I was very interested in my foster's pet parrot, but after being corrected several times, I've learned I don't jump at his cage. I just need reassurance that I am safe and loved.
