About Choji

Hi! I am Choji - I am four years and three months old. I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I will tell you when I need to go outside, and when you say 'in your crate', I will walk into my crate willingly. I love to cuddle, play, run, eat, and sleep. My favorite place to sleep is my mom's bed. My favorite toy is anything that squeaks!!! My favorite activity is hiking with my mom My favorite food is fruits and veggies! (strawberries, blueberries, and cucumbers) I am very high energy - I get VERY excited when my mom gets home, and it shows in my uncontrollable barking! I do love training, though, so I'm sure I would do better with proper training and attention! I know how to sit, stay, spin, paw, up and down. I am a good boy, I listen when there's treats involved, and I like to shadow my mom everywhere she goes. Because my humans split back in September, my mom has struggled to maintain consistency with my training as she's barely hanging on to herself right now, and has finally realized she can't do it alone for the amount of energy I have. She wants my new humans to know that she loves me VERY much, she's been my entire life (literally - I was adopted by her at three months old), and I have been hers for the last four years, but she has acknowledged that she can no longer offer the time and attention she once had to offer me when she had help from her partner. I am good with other dogs, but I will need to be kept separate from other dogs in the home for a few days until I get acclimated as I am very reactive. I am great with kids! I prefer to be with humans than other dogs, but love to greet everyone! I have never been around cats, so that experience is unknown. I am up to date on all vaccinations - My most recent vet visit was on 4/9/2024. I need a human that is very active/outdoorsy, I will thrive in a home that takes me along with them while hiking, walking, running outside, playing in parks, etc. or in a big fenced in yard. I love to fetch, I love to chase, and I love to run away - so make sure you keep me close at all times! I can't wait to meet my new human(s) (3 The Adoption Fee will cover my food, supplies, vet records, vaccinations for the year, and five-months supply of Simparica Trio!
