About Griffin

This is my sweet boy Griffin. He is 6 years old and the biggest lover you could ever meet! It is breaking my heart to do this because I love him more than I could have ever thought possible�'�|but it is because I love him so much that I have to find a home for him where he can be happy again. Our family has had Griffin since he was just under a year old. He came to our family after the loss of our first dog. However, the past year, our family has gotten older and busier. My husband and I both work full time and with our kids full time in school and extra curricular activities, Griffin is often home alone. As you know, weims are very people-social dogs, and Griffin is definitely no exception. His anxiety has only risen the busier our family has become. No amount of time in the evenings is enough to make up for the time he is left alone during the day. He deserves better. We would love to find a family for him that can be home with him often and give him all of the love and attention he so desperately needs and definitely deserves. He is house broken, sleeps in a kennel (although he would LOVE to sleep in bed with you) and is excellent around kids of all ages, other dogs, and even cats. He only barks when you are playing with him or when he wants to come inside the house if he's been out for too long. He truly is amazing! Please help me find him a home that will make it a little less heartbreaking to let him go.
