About MILO

***NEEDS REHOMING*** Currently in Hailey, ID Young, healthy, friendly, trained MILO needs a new home because of a recent family tragedy. For those that love this breed, he is a gem! MILO is a good boy with lots of great behaviors to offer his new family. He was 1 of the 7 husky-shepherd puppies that Friends Furever Animal Rescue saved when they were only 8 weeks old (Remember ARTIMUS, BEAUX, NETTIE, SITKA, etc.) MILO is dog-friendly and has been living in a house with a cat. He is crate-trained, but does well in the house with free-roam (for a while). He would do best in a home with at least one other dog to spend time with. He knows sit, stay, down, come wait, let's go, and leave it. Like a typical husky, he can be stubborn and ignore commands. He is scared of the vacuum cleaner and unsure when meeting strangers. MILO likes playing with ball, plush/squeak/tug toys and plays fetch, tug and chase with his people. He loves going on runs. He is talkative and his play style may be too much energy for little ones. He will need a secure yard to keep him safe. MILO is OK on leash, but prefers off-leash walks with training collar. He sleeps through the night on a dog bed. MILO is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines (10/20/25). His vet records will be provided.
