About APRICOT - NYC ResQ Pup

Pit Bull mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

APRICOT, a 5-yr-old, 50lb Pitbull mix was picked up by police roaming the corridors of a New York City tenement and promptly dumped at the cruel city kill pound, where the friendly affectionate dog was sentenced to death, simply because killing her was more convenient for uncaring bureaucrats than trying to adopt her. A volunteer at the kill pound wrote about APRICOT as follows: 'She arrived at the shelter a wiggly, sweet, little girl with sparkling eyes and a bright smile. Apricot would be a wonderful friend and companion. She adores people, constantly wiggling and dancing around your feet, and she has captured our hearts with her adorable, silly nature and her non-stop desire to make everyone around her as happy as she is. Please consider fostering or adopting this stellar sweetheart who loves giving and getting snuggles and cuddles!' APRICOT will need lots of toys and positive outlets for her high energy. A bright and alert dog, APRICOT is a quick learner who needs a caring foster or adopter to socialize and train her. APRICOT is housebroken, spayed, up-to-date on all shots and in perfect health. Please be sure to click the YouTube button to see APRICOT's video recorded by the volunteers in the kill pound who loved her. For more pictures, videos and the rest of this loving and lovable rescue dog's story, please call Andrew anytime at (646) 387-9868. APRICOT's adoption fee is waived, and we will transport her to your home anywhere in the USA for FREE! Thank You for your interest in APRICOT.
