I am fun!!! Meet Rigatoni, an adorable male mixed breed puppy who is about 22 weeks old and recently rescued from South Carolina with siblings and mom. Mom is a 20 pound terrier/chihuahua mix, we do not have information on dad but he is on track to be about 40-45 pounds. He is the biggest lover, a great cuddler and loves to zoom and play. Great company for a person working from home. Mostly housebroken if monitored and allowed out frequently. Now neutered and microchipped. Hoping for a home with another dog, he does better with a companion. Puppies under 6 months of age may go to adoptive homes before they are spayed/neutered with a spay/neuter contract. Adopters who choose to adopt a puppy that has not yet been spayed/neutered are subject to an additional deposit of $100 (refundable upon proof of spay/neuter prior to the contracted date.) Included in the adoption fee, the rescue will arrange spay/neuter by a partner vet at a predetermined appointment when the puppy is between 7-9 months of age. It is the responsibility of the adopter to bring the adopted puppy back to the rescue vet for spaying/neutering or, if they choose, to send verification from their own vet (at the adopter's own cost) that the puppy had been spayed/neutered. All of our dogs will be microchipped. Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging.
