Apply for Adoption at www.tvar.org Have you been thinking about a dog, but not sure that you have the energy to invest in the basic training skills? Lassie would love to meet you and fulfill your dreams. Lassie is a Husky mix about 48 lbs. She may be a bit shy when first meeting you, but she warms up quickly. Lassie is the sweetest dog. She loves to be pet and have her belly rubbed. A tired dog is a good dog. Lassie is happy with 2 or 3 walks (20 to 30 minutes each) at day. She walks well on her leash and does not react to people or other dogs she encounters on her walks. However, you may need to be ready for the occasional bolt if she sees a squirrel or cat. She is up for longer walks and would probably love a jogging partner. Lassie is house trained. If you miss her signal to go out, she will get your attention with a low howl. She loves her bed for naps during the day and goes easily into her crate at nighttime. She knows basic commands like sit and down (although her stubborn husky side may cause her to respond a little slowly at times). Lassie is working on the stay command as well as loose leash walking. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. ## See attached video of Lassie! ##
