About Jake

Jake has a very unfortunate story indeed. Left behind in a locked home after the owner was evicted, Jake spent who knows how long in that home until someone finally found him. He was then put into foster care and they took good care of him until rescue could be found. We are happy that we were chosen to take Jake in and look for a much better home for him to live out the rest of his years. He does show a few behaviors of his time alone, he will try to bury his food in his blanket to save some for later. That will hopefully get better over time as he realizes that food will never be withheld again. Jake does well on leash walks. Our veterinarian thinks that Jake is about 9 years old and had pretty good teeth considering all things. He is now neutered, up to date on vaccinations and has been micro chipped. He is ready for his forever home where he will never be left behind. Will that be you? Adoption fee is $200.
