About Miley

Our sweet little smiley Miley is having a tough time right now - but you'd never know it based on her personality! She's just as loving as she can be. Miley is a young Lab mix who was found as an injured stray in Fresno. She had multiple wounds - especially on her back legs - and is unable to stand or walk. X-rays show a spiral fracture of the back left femur. Thankfully her pelvis, spine, and front limbs seemed fine on x-ray, but she still won't bear weight on her front right leg for an unknown reason. We're worried about her possibly having nerve damage in that front leg, and that's why she can't use it. She ended up having to have the leg amputated. She's been recovering well! Miley is 1YO and weighs 43 lbs.
