About Nugget

Nugget is such a good boy. He walks well on a leash and is super easy to take out and put back in his kennel. He knows to take treats gently from your hand and loves them very much - even if he doesn't know any tricks yet. He typically has an average energy level, and would never dream of monopolizing your time. He can keep himself entertained. When the toys come out, he turns into a little dorky goofball. He LOVES squeaky toys with all his little heart! He'll play with them for as long as he's able, and if he sees where you put the toy away he's very likely to go try and get it himself. Toys really kick start his playful side, and it's very funny to watch him with them. Nugget has also gotten along well with other dogs in shelter playgroups. Nugget is a 2YO Doberman Pinscher/Lab mix who came into the shelter as a stray on 1/26/24. He weighs 34 lbs.
