About Shorty

Shorty is a sweet old man looking for a loving home to spend his senior years! Shorty is currently being fostered because his family lost their housing. He is a 10 year old mixed breed who loves his people. He enjoys going on walks (does pull and is dog reactive), laying in his bed, playing fetch, and laying in the grass. He is a good mix of spunky and chill! Shorty will be a loving companion. He can be a vocal boy but mostly just when excited or hears loud noises. Shorty does need an experienced adopter as he does have some protection tendencies. He had no aggression history with his owner (with them for 9 years) but has shown aggression when acting as a protector to his current foster family. He will need to go to a home who is willing to be patient with him and patient when introducing him to their friends and family. Shorty has had one aggressive incident since being with his foster family and we would be happy to give you all the information regarding this incident if you are interested in Shorty!
