About Byron

Byron is one of those dogs that is easily passed up because he can come off as intimidating, but he is a total sweetheart that is gentle with people and loves attention. He doesn't cause any problems with the other dogs at the rescue, he listened well, and is just all around a really good dog that was dealt a crappy hand in life. When he's happy, his little tail nub just goes and goes like you wouldn't believe and he has a cute smile as seen in his picture. Byron is heartworm positive going through the slow kill process which is better for his body. This doesn't slow him down in the least. Byron would do great in a home where he can be himself, loved, and continue his heartworm treatment. He is ready to find his forever home.
