About Affectionate Cammie

Are you looking for an easy going furry family member or companion? Cammie could be your girl! CAMMIE is a super affectionate, calmer but playful 3 year old Australian Cattle dog mix who wants to love and please her humans. An easy going, laid back girl happy to cuddle up with you, follow you around or lay by your feet. She has a lower medium energy level where she's up for a little playtime with her people but also knows how to relax. A perfect companion for a family, single person or retired couples. Cammie loves affection from her people, food, chasing squirrels and laying on her bed by the fireplace. Housetrained with good house manners. Not destructive at all inside or outside. Child friendly and she is comfortable around all kids. Dog friendly with some dogs her size, but would also be happy getting all your love as an only dog. She is not a fan of other dogs around her food, easily handled by eating in her crate, but she has no issues with people near her food. Sleeps through the night on her own bed. Cammie rarely gets on the furniture, unless she is invited. She is not a jumper and does not have hyper energy. Not a big barker, but will alert you to strangers outside of the house, especially if they have dogs with them. She is a quick learner, treat motivated, has learned basic commands 'sit, go, off, down' and would be happy to learn more. Due to her natural prey drive, she will not be adopted to a home with cats or small critters. Cammie is 55 lbs, spayed. microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention. She is in a foster home in North Texas and transport is available to most US states. After an application is submitted, we can set up a facetime for you with Cammie and her foster family.
