About Zeus

We have had Zeus since he was a baby. We got him for our son. He is in the military and was supposed to send for him. Now he is back overseas and cannot take him. My husband and I can no longer care for him the way we did. My wife can no longer walk him, he is very protective. When walking him if other dogs bark at him of come up to him he will attack them. This had happened to my wife and while walking him. He is too strong, weight is 125 to 135.lbs. He is really good with our Teacup Yorkie but she is just as old as he is they were brought up together. We sold our house and moved into an apartment ( we like to travel) Having him cooped up in an apartment is sad he had his own back yard for 14 years with our bunnies and our Yorkie. It's been really rough having him in an apartment. He is old and we believe his hips may hurt when walking, we live on the 3rd floor and no elevator. It's become over whelming, he had been having accidents inside and we just aren't home enough. He is too large and no one will babysit him when we go camping or on vacation. Not because he is bad , but just whining all the time constantly for no reason. He isn't so much like that when he is with us. So we have decided to stay to find a good place to take him or someone to take him. I do not recommend other large dogs in the home. As far as adults it's 50 50 chance he is super picky on who touches him. All the grand Babies he has been perfect with. Never has bitten anyone. He has growled or barked at people but mostly that was when we lived in the house and he didn't like ppl walking too close to our house. That's about it. He has been a good boy and we hate to give him away, but it's just not fair to him or us. He needs more than what we can do for him right now. And we are starting to travel a lot and it's hard when people want to always come up and pet him or other dog owners wont have their dog on a leash while walking and then it's a mess or could be.
