About Rico

Rico was adopted from Colorado. He seems to have some PTSD. His past history is not known as he was found as a stray . He is seems to be a pure blood blue heeler . He loves his people and is very protective of them. He does not have the over excessive high energy of a lot of heelers . He is just as happy to go for a romp as he is cuddling on the couch with you . He is not food aggressive and is not destructive when left alone . He seems to just want his forever person and would be happy as the only dog in the home.He has shown aggression towards strangers but is very loving once he gets to know them. My daughter got him when she was living alone and he was a great watch dog and very protective of her . He is living with us now and our other dog is very jealous and is treating him badly . So we want a home that he can live in without fear and be his happier self.
