About Nova

Meet Nova! Nova arrived at our shelter on 4/4/24, and she's currently in the process of adjusting to her new surroundings. This sweet girl is beginning to settle in and is revealing her calm and gentle nature to us. Nova absolutely adores attention and isn't shy about asking for it - she'll let out a little whine to capture your heart! On 4/9/24, Nova embarked on her very first walk with us, and to our amazement, she walked on a leash like a true professional! Her leash manners are on point, making outdoor adventures with her a breeze. During her initial health assessment on 4/8/24, Nova received her rabies vaccination & underwent 4DX testing and unfortunately, she tested positive for Lyme disease. However, there's no need to worry - Nova is currently on a 30-day course of Doxycycline to combat the infection. Once she completes her treatment, she'll be ready to receive her DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations to ensure she's in the best of health. As Nova continues to settle in and we learn more about her personality and preferences, we'll be sure to update her profile. Keep checking back for more information on this lovely girl!
