Max is a 2 year old plott hound mix that was a state police confiscate due to neglect. When state police went to the home Nax was living in his own urine and feces, his water was a bird waterer and his food he just kept pushing away. He was surrendered to us by state police and he weighed a mere 35 lbs. Since being with us and a refeeding regime he has now gained a decent amount of weight. He now weighs 65 lbs and has been neutered and recieved all if his appropriate vaccines. Max is crate trained, he us house broken and he loves kids and everyone he meets. Max knows sit, stay, wait and come. He is a known escape artist. Max Needs someone who will give him time to adjust and a fenced in yard to run in. Max does really well in the car. He will sit nicely on the back seat or lay down for the ride. He did great at the vet for his nail trim. Blood work and even his bath. Max's only downfall is that he will need to be kept on liver support supplements the remainder of his life from the neglect he has endured. His liver values are always elevated. He gets the liver support once daily. We give it to him mixed with his food. He had blood work done for his liver prior to his neuter and his liver still functions normally just the enzymes are elevated.
