Hi, everyone. I'm reaching out to find a new foster for Remy. She is a 3 yo (approx) German Shepherd who has been living with us for 2 months. She came to our home at only 32 lbs! She was emaciated and close to no return. After some vet visits she was diagnosed with EPI, which means she lacks the digestive enzymes needed to get nutrients from her food. Once we figured that out and got her on the correct supplements she has blossomed. She's now up to 49lbs and has good energy. She is a smart dog who learns quickly and listens well. Remy needs to be an only dog in the household or she needs to be kept separated from other pets. She also needs special supplements added to her food to ensure that she can digest the food. The supplements cost about $50/month. She is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to play fetch and walks well on a leash. I'm going to miss having her around. She's a good girl but has had a tough life so far. Can anyone take the reins on fostering this girl? I don't want to drop her back to LMAS as I think she will get lost in the mix. And given the overcrowded shelter, she needs to be fostered. Anyone available to take her on? This is urgent.
