About Lost and Found

Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Found: lost dog, Chocolate Lab or mix, very friendly! Please contact me if you have any interest in recovering or adopting a very friendly lost dog. It seems to be a female Chocolate Lab mix, small in stature, with a little white hair on the paws and neck. Perhaps a Lab and German Short Hair mix? I think it is somewhat young, with white and spotted accents on the paws and chest, rather than gray. It followed my 11-yr-old son around, like a puppy, outside when I brought it home to secure it safely and feed it leftover lamb roast from Easter. It was found this morning on the side of the road near the Fisherville Church of Christ on Taylorsville Rd (Rt 148), scared and hungry. I secured it in my front yard, fed it and called animal control. Please send me a note ASAP. Or, Officer Thompson with Louisville Metro Animal Services, (502) 363-6609, is familiar with the call for service. It would make a great companion, with short hair and a friendly personality that longs human affection. It was compliant, without any hint of distemper, when I improvised a collar around its neck. It was eager for head scratches and neck rubs. She just needs a bath, nutrition and a basic medical checkup, I think. No injuries or limp. Thank you!
