About Blue

Blue is the BEST five year old dog ever (He turns 5 this April), our family loves him SO much. He was purchased through 44 Rottweiler kennels and come from a very loving family! He has never had an issue with doggie day care or boarding (In fact, they love him and Blue loves playing with other dogs - his current brother is a Yorkie). He loves playing ball, catching shadows, rolling in the grass and receiving lots of love and treats. However, a friend slapped him in the face a year and a half ago when Blue was trying to play with his son. (He didnt know better) and since then, he has been tempermental with sudden movements by people he doesnt know. He has issued warning bites to a few men that when to suddenly pet him. We have a two year old and keep him separate from Blue permanently just in case he ever tries to touch his face or backside. To reiterate, Blue has only ever bit a four people that a)made a sudden movement towards his face or b) grabbed or pushed his backside. He is now kept away from others that have a tendency to pet or play with dogs unknowingly. We are looking for a loving home for him - as he has 4-5 more years worth of love to give in his happy life, and I dont want to keep him separated from our family so often in order to protect our son from any accidental unwanted touch. Please reach out if you dont have any kids, and want to adopt an incredibly loving and happy dog that simply needs adults that know how to touch him (He is amazing around my husband & I).
