Please welcome Piper to our rescue! We just saved from our local shelter where she was shutting down in the shelter environment, so we knew we had to get her out. Piper came into the shelter with 14 other huskies from a hoarding situation. She is skittish at first with new people, but with a little time she definitely warms up. She is a bit unsure of the outside world as loud noises can be scary to her. Once she trusts you, she will follow you everywhere. She is 4 years old and she is a tiny girl! She needs a patient home who can continue to help her grow! We are working on leash skills and she isn't 100% potty trained but we are working on it. Piper can be a vocal girl who will woo for your attention. She does great with other dogs and she loves to play chase. She can be a little intimidated at first, so she needs slow introductions with other dogs in the home. Piper is not much of a rough player with her husky foster siblings, and she just prefers to hang out near her humans more than play. She just needs a special loving home who can continue to help her socialize and build individual confidence. She is a tiny girl and she is great in the car. Piper is a really amazing dog who deserves a second chance.
