About Rai Rai

RAI RAI is a 2 year old, 8 pound Chihuahua Yorkie mix who was surrendered because her owner was facing eviction. LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Fenced yard, another small dog preferred. After the initial introduction (at her current foster home that meant hiding under the couch for two days) you could not ask for a better companion. Once you have earned her trust, Rai Rai loves snuggles! She greets her foster mom with bounces, a wagging tail, and asks for kisses. Rai Rai plays well with all dogs and would enjoy having a home with another small dog. She has been around kids, barked, then was interested. She is not cat tested. Rai Rai is house trained and uses the doggy door. She likes playing outside and exploring new things, but really likes for her person to be outside with her. She is still very scared of new noises and fast movements and we are requiring a home with a fenced yard for her safety and comfort. At night Rai Rai currently sleeps with another dog in the TV room, but in her first foster home she loved snuggling up in the big bed. She has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. If you are patient and want a perfect, beautiful companion, Rai Rai is your girl! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
