Lonnie is a very sweet and loving dog who just wants companionship. In the summertime, she loves to play in the water, and I enjoy watching her play. I wish I could keep her, but I have cats and have had to learn the hard way that she does not get along with them. I took care of that problem, and now she wants to dominate my elderly female dog who is weak in her legs, and I am not going to have that. I have really tried to do the best I can with her, but I have a full time job, and having to go out of my way every morning is taking a lot of time and making me late for work. I have only had her for one year. Her previous owners were going to take her to the shelter, and when I heard that, I said that she could come live with me. They told me that she was 4 years old, but I think she is more like 14yrs. They said she had had all her shots and had been spayed, but I don't think so. Lonnie likes to dig and doesn't like load noises. This is all I know about her. I have fallen in love with her, and this is going to hurt me, but I can't let my other animals get hurt by her wanting to dominate them. She would best be suited with a person that does not have any other animals or maybe just 1 male dog because she does get along with my other 2 male dogs. I would definitely not have any children around her.
