About RORY

Meet Adoptable Rory! Rory has the greatest personality and temperament! He is a very loveable, cuddly boy and loves getting attention & rubs. If you are going on car ride, don't forget Rory! He wants to be your co-pilot! He loves running and playing with his toys in the yard, having a good time and going for walks. Rory is still learning his leash manners and is a very strong boy, for being a medium size dog, so his person needs to be a strong handler. Rory gets along well with other dogs but cats are unknown. He loves people and we like children in the home to be at least 8 years old. Rory came into rescue with an awful skin condition. His skin had the appearance of major skin flaking, inflammation and a greasy feel. We had Rory to the veterinarian many times and treated with lot of different medical approaches to find a solution. After trying medications for bacterial or fungal infections, the vet turned to allergy medications, allergy testing & then allergy immunotherapy injections. After being through all that and not get results, we turned to a trial of feeding Rory a Raw Diet. We started seeing changes within a month and it appears to be just what Rory needed! Rory is about 3 years old, weighs 48 lbs, is neutered, vaccinated, Heartworm negative (on Heartworm & Flea prevention), microchipped, house & crate trained. Rory's breed description is a guess according to his appearance. Rory would make a great addition to your family!
