Still available as of 5/2/24. Dutch is an intact, 90#, sable GSD born 11/22. He is from the 2nd litter from a sable mother and all black, papered father. We rescued him in January from a lady who had to move to a no dog apartment. He is a good boy. Affectionate with the family since day 1. House trained, doesn't bolt out, sleeps on bed or floor, doesn't guard food, never wakes us up to go out. Super silky coat. He is 100% reactive (lunging and rapid barking) to any other human or animal. I would not say agressive as much as uber-defensive. We live across from a busy city park and he cannot live here. He is not the dog we thought we were getting in January and he cannot be returned. I imagine he will accept whoever feeds him for a few days. He loves the big tennis balls from TSC and playing fetch. He is very careful to hide chew toys around the house. He did once live with another dog, which may be the impetus for that. We are having weekly sessions with a professional dog trainer who says he should not live in the city. He would be a terrific country dog. He would produce beautiful pups. If he does not find a new home, he will soon meet a sad end.
