About Lucy

Lucy is my best friend but we unfortunately need to get rid of her due to my landlord. I've had her for most of her life. I rescued her at about 6 months old. Lucy is the best dog I've ever had. On Easter Sunday I had family over and my sisters husband took her out for a walk without me knowing, he wasn't paying attention and Lucy ran and he let her leash go by accident. She spotted a small dog and ran up to it, she sniffed it for a minute and the small dog started to bark and she bit the dog. The dog later had to be put down. This would have never happened if she was with an experienced handler. Lucy doesn't get along with any dogs and if I would have known he went to walk her I would have stopped him. I feel so horrible for the people loosing their dog, I can't stop thinking about the situation. She's protective of her family, energetic and loves to go for walks. This is the hardest thing I have to do, but I need to find a good loving family for her.
