About Bubba

Meet Bubba! This good natured, goof ball is ready for a home to call his own! He adores being the center of attention and lives to make is humans happy. He's a very good boy who would be a wonderful addtional to almost any family. Bubba is crate and house trained and has good house manners. He won't tear up your shoes or steal your leftover pizza off the counter....but he won't turn down a bite if you offer it to him. I mean, look that bod! He is good on leash and easy to walk around the block or on a hike. He's in a foster home with lots of other dogs and is great with almost all of them! In his free time, he enjoys sitting on the couch watching cooking shows. We know that Bubba is a good boy and hope there is an adopter out there who will see it too! Bubba has been waiting for over a year to be chosen. A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Bubba, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
