About Teddy Bear

Teddy is a sweet but energetic boy. Unfortunately hes a bit too energetic for me to keep up with. Teddy needs a new home ASAP! As he has cost us 2K in repairs to our AC unit. Now he's not a destructive dog.. he justs really clumsy and learned he can take a short cut from one side yard to the other by running in between the house and the Unit. By doing this hes taken out the wiring multiple times and this last time caused a short that took out the air compressor. My MIL has agreed to pay for the repairs on one condition: the dog goes. I have already tried to take him to our local shelter but they are full and I cant justify having a dog put down just to surrender another. But I will have no choice but to try the shelter again soon. Teddy has been raised with other dogs and young kids under 6yo. He is crate trained for bed time and dinner. Hes never shown any aggression issues. Unfortunately hes not very good on a leash. I hardly ever leave the house so hes rarely ever walked on one. Teddy is a very energetic boy. Hes going to need a family to match his energy levels. He loves attention but can get over excited on occasion. He's very smart and knows how to open flip latches with his nose so you need a lock if you have chain link fences. Teddy does have great recall and will come when called. Our back door is about 20ft outside of our fence so I have worked on his recall alot. Hes a sweet, goofy dog but hes just too much for us to handle.
